 THE CROODS (2013)

The Croods is a 3D computer-themed animated adventure-themed 3D film produced by DreamWorks Animation, and distributed by 20th Century Fox. The Croods was written and directed by Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders, and produced by Kristine Belson and Jane Hartwell. The film premiered at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival on February 15, 2013, and has been released in theaters of the United States on March 22, 2013. The film takes the backdrop of a prehistoric era of Pliocene fiction known as The Croodaceous. It is a period of the lives of fantasy creatures, when humans take the position of "Hunting Leaders" threatened by the arrival of a prehistoric genius who brings with them a revolutionary new discovery, like fire, which they discover after experiencing dangerous things on exotic soil in a traveling looking for a new residence.

The Croods is a family of cavemen who just happened to be the only survivors consisting of his father, Grug (Nicolas cage); mother, Ugga (Catherine Keener); eldest daughter, Eep (Emma Stone), second son, Thunk (Clark Duke); baby girl, Sandy (Randy Thorm); as well as the grandmother, Gran (Cloris Leachman) who daily spent time in the cave. This is due to the Grug orders that always remind members of his family should never occasionally roam outside. Grugs also always argue that new things can kill them. Of course the child whose name can not just obey orders.

One night Eep wanders out of thecave out of curiosity for the meisterius light and meets a young man named Guy (Ryan Reynolds). Guy tells Eep that the world they live in will soon be destroyed and invites Eep to jointly escape, but Eep rejects the invitation. Before leaving, Guy gave Eep a shell that he could breathe in if he needed help from him. It was no nonsense because of the earth shaking, the cave in which the Croods lived was destroyed and they were forced into a dangerous outer world.

On the way, when the croods family is in danger of Eep blowing the ivory he finds for help to Guy, then Guy comes to the rescue. That's when they adventure together toward the mountain to survive from natural disasters. Once Grug and Guy are trapped in the asphalt, they talk and Grug finally realizes that his old-fashioned thoughts will not save him, which can save him and his family just by thinking ahead and moving forward because that's how he starts to trust Guy.

Until one day they almost reached the destination suddenly split, that's when Grug as head of the family took the initiative to throw his family to survive the disaster that occurred. While alone in the stone ruins he finds the idea of ​​surviving the place, by riding a skeleton drawn by the birds he survived with some of his saved animals as well. Eventually they lived in a more beautiful land than the cave where they lived, and they changed the rules for survival, the rule that kept them away from the darkness where they could follow the light.

Advantages :

The performance of the voice is very good, so the characters who seem to have a soul.

The story is easy to predict.

Emotion characters are less excavated, so the character's emotions sometimes seem bland.
